Full Itinerary

Your Day, Step by Step

To ensure a smooth journey and optimal flight timing, our private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Lima at 5:00 AM. Leaving early helps us avoid morning traffic and ensures we reach Nazca by late morning. As you head south along the scenic Panamericana Highway, you’ll witness the changing landscapes—from Lima’s bustling districts to the quiet beauty of Peru’s desert coast.

Your journey takes you through a surreal coastal landscape, where massive dunes meet the deep Pacific Ocean. Along the way, you’ll see traditional villages and desert valleys that reveal the stark contrasts of Peru’s terrain. Enjoy several stops to stretch, take photos, and grab snacks or breakfast as we make our way through this fascinating route.

Before heading to the airfield, we stop at the Palpa desert to see human-shaped figures carved into the nearby Palpa hills, offering a rare view of these pre-Inca geoglyphs still visible from the ground.

Further south we stop at the Nazca Lines Observation Tower, where you can clearly see the “Tree” and “Hands” geoglyphs, —an exciting preview of what’s to come.

Upon arrival in Nazca, we’ll check you in at the local airport. After a short safety briefing, you’ll board a Cessna aircraft, specially designed with window seats for every passenger. Before boarding the plane, you will receive a Nazca Lines Map. During the 35-minute flight, you’ll soar above the most famous Nazca figures, including the Hummingbird, Monkey, Spider, Astronaut, Condor, Whale, and Parrot. The pilot will tilt the aircraft gently on both sides to allow perfect views and photo opportunities of each geoglyph.

After the flight, take time to relax, enjoy lunch in town (optional, not included), and reflect on the wonder you’ve just witnessed. Then, we begin our private return journey to Lima, arriving at your hotel by early evening. This full-day tour is a seamless, once-in-a-lifetime experience for those eager to uncover the mystery of the Nazca desert—all in a single day.
